Overview: This presentation will discusses the new options for in-rack protection of storage as allowed by NFPA 13 2019 edition and updated FM Data Sheet 8-9. Please join us to learn more about these new and innovative protection schemes.
Presenter: Reliable Sprinkler - Alan Larson, Technical Services Manager: Alan has more than thirty years of experience in fire protection. He has familiarity with contracting, fire protection engineering, design and manufacturing. Alan served as a member of the NFPA Committee on Residential Systems from 2005-2008. He graduated from Ferris State University in 1984 with a degree in Architectural Technology, and is a NICET Level III Certified Engineering Technician (CET) in automatic sprinkler system layout and an NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).
