Presenters: Jon Nisja and Bruce West, Minnesota State Fire Marshal Division
We are pleased to announce Jon Nisja and Bruce West of the Minnesota State Fire Marshal Division as the presenters for our first meeting of the new year.
This presentation will give the State Fire Marshal Division’s annual review of Fire in Minnesota and will review the status of the code revision/adoption process in Minnesota, including code updates of the State Residential Code and residential sprinklers as well as the State Fire Code. Time permitting, Jon will also speak about sprinkler effectiveness and sprinkler “failures” based on a recent NFPA research project.
